It’s been a while…

I was feeling pretty blue the other day…Maybe it was because my husband was packing up again to leave for the week. This whole new career of his has him traveling all week, but he loves it and I am so proud of him for making the change. Or, maybe it was because there is another stay at home order… Yup, it’s been hard, yup it’s been challenging, and yup,… this is my first blog post in almost a month. I’ve been busy. This latest course in school has been a demanding one for sure, but I still love it, and I have officially begun my search for a new career in social media. I am really, REALLY looking forward to starting this career. It’s going to be a game changer for us and it’s something I really enjoy. As far as the stay at home order goes … I miss my friends and family. As I am sure most of you do. Many of us put on a brave face and go about our day. It’s important to stop and really think about how you are feeling before it boils up inside and you explode. I had some moments recently where my anxiety was starting to take a hold of me and I needed to step back and pin point what was going on. These are stressful times, no doubt about it.

Self care check…You okay? Are you really?

I’ve kept up with my walking and now that the nice weather is here I am going out even more. I actually walked to the grocery store today with the littlest one. I have been pretty diligent with keeping him out of stores his entire life (he’s a pandemic baby). However, today I had no choice we needed to get some things. Although masks and lockdowns are pretty much all he knows, he was still all smiles with the ladies at the store. Casey my love, you really are sunshine on a cloudy day.

I mean… How can this face not make you smile?
